About Me
I received my Masters' degree in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University in San Rafael, California, in 1990, and have been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 1995. I am a graduate of the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program offered by the Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis-North, and have taken numerous other trainings in contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice. My work is also informed by Attachment Theory, Control Mastery Theory, and neuroscience. I have had training in John Gottman’s Couples Therapy model and Sue Johnson's Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples.
I pursue ongoing training, learning, and personal growth as part of my commitment to the challenge and enjoyment of working with the complexities of the human psyche.
As well as working with psychotherapy clients, I am available for professional consultation with other clinicians. Please contact me for my fee and availability.
